ANY QUESTIONS ?

  • In order to reserve a bike, you must first purchase classes. To buy classes, sign up for a username and password or if you've already created an account, you can simply login to purchase classes and begin reserving. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, and cash.
  • Classes can be cancelled max 12 hours before the scheduled class.
  • Once your bike is cancelled, the class will be returned to your account to be used later.
  • Riders can cancel their classes online or by calling the studio. But be forewarned: if you don’t cancel your bike 12 hours before the scheduled class starts, your credit will be charged to your account...and we don’t want to do that !
  • As bikes open up, we give them away to riders on the waitlist in the order that they put themselves on. You have to buy a class BEFORE you can put yourself on the waitlist, but if you don't get a bike, the class credit will be returned to your account to be used at a future date.
  • Up until the day of the class, we will automatically add you to the classes you are waitlisted for. You will receive a notification stating you have received a bike. If a bike opens up on the day of the class, we will contact waitlisted riders, but will not enroll them unless we receive a confirmation from them.
  • Please note, we assume you want to take EVERY class you are waitlisted for. If you do not remove yourself from the waitlist (online or by calling the studio) 12 hours before the class, you may get added to the class after it is too late to cancel.
  • In addition, we do not offer the option of 'switching' classes. If you are scheduled for one class and then receive a bike from the waitlist for another class, you will be charged for both reservations.
  • Yes. You can purchase gift certificates in the studio.
  • No. You cannot sell or transfer your class to someone else
  • No. When you buy a class, you are only entitled to use that class to book a bike in a particular studio at a particular time. You cannot redeem your class for cash.
  • One of the best things about indoor cycling is that it can be adapted to any fitness level. With the ability to adjust the resistance level on the bike, the workout can suit each rider's abilities. With every class comes increased confidence and strength, so we encourage first timers to go at their own pace and have fun.
  • No. But don't worry, we have new riders in almost every class, inform the front desk it is your first class and we’ll take care of you
  • It depends on the weight of the individual and the amount of exertion used. Research indicates that on average, indoor cyclists can burn from 500-700 calories in a vigorous 45-minute workout.
  • Yes. We do not permit children under the age of 13 to ride at URBAN RIDE. For riders aged 13-18 years old, you must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Cycling shoes offer a more secure position in the pedals enabling the cyclist to work much more efficiently. Pedal strokes become more powerful and allow you to target the correct muscle groups. On our bikes, we use SPD cleats.
  • Each account is linked to one individual only and it is not possible to book bikes for others. Each rider will need to create their own personal account.
  • The URBANRIDE studio has lockers outfitted with locks in addition to separate changing rooms, showers and grooming products.
  • We have water available for sale in our studios, but of course you can bring your own or fill up at our fountains.
