This is your first time? We are here to make sure your experience at URBANRIDE is as perfect as possible. Here are some tips.
When you arrive at the studio, come by the reception desk so that we can check you in the class. We recommend to come to the studio 15 minutes before class starts so that we have enough time to show you around and get you started.
We provide cycling shoes free of charge. Sizes go from 36 to 47 (EU). You have the choice to either use cycling shoes with Shimano SPD system or to keep your own sneakers as our bikes allow for both options. You are also welcomed to bring you own cycling shoes to the studio.
At URBANRIDE, our goal is to make it easier for you to sweat harder. For you to be ready to do so, we would suggest wearing form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom and to put on a light shirt you want to sweat in on top.
Lockers We want you not to worry about anything and surely not about your personal belongings. Large lockers will be at your disposal in the cloakrooms, each one of them with clothes hangers. All lockers are locked with a small key that you will be able to take with you during class.
When you get to the spinning room, the instructor will help you adjust your bike and will give you a couple of tips to make the most out of your class. The class lasts 50 minutes. Whether you are a confirmed rider or not, remember that it is key to stay hydrated during the work-out. Don’t push too hard at the beginning, go at you own rhythm and you will enjoy the ride for sure.
No need to make you sport bag heavier by carrying a towel with you. We will provide a small towel on the bike for the class and you will find larger towels in the cloakroom to shower after class.
In the cloakrooms, you will find individual shower cabins. Inside each one of them, a complete pack of grooming products will be at your disposal including shower gel, shampoo and after-shampoo from L’Occitane en Provence. And for you to be perfect while going out of the studio, we also provide moisturizing lotions and perfumes.
It is key to stay hydrated during the class so make sure to have water with you. We have water available for sale in our studio, but of course you can bring your own or fill up at our various fountains available in the cloakrooms or directly in the spinning studio.
